[Filtered from drones, Grady, the Mayor, and the Smiths; Open to the 'conscious' town]
A question, citizens of Mayfield. Most of you, I trust, know and dislike how the Post Office operates, but one must wonder if there is some point at which its terms actually become acceptable.
I am speaking, for instance, of a regained power, skill or item that enables you to ameliorate the harm done in order to regain said item in the first place. Is it acceptable to take the risk of being damaged when there is a chance higher than fifty percent that you will be able to repair said damage? I merely ask because I feel it likely that our captors would see this as an attempt to cheat the system and would thus already have measures in place.
If anyone is aware of such measures, please inform me.
[That's right. Klaus is considering asking for at least the second phase of his Spark back. Phase one, while better than nothing, is still maddeningly useless and results in headaches more often than he'd like to admit -- it's only a ramp-up stage, and when he naturally starts to transition into phase two, there's nothing there. He's fully expecting that whatever the town takes from him will be big -- but if it's physical, he knows his Spark will enable him to fix it. Now. Is it worth the risk?]
